Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using our website, placing an order, or booking a repair or service with Netronical.

Last updated: 01 September 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Netronical website, online store, and any repair, installation, IT support, or web development services ("Services") provided by Netronical ("we", "us", "our"), based in Durban North, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. By using our website, placing an order, or booking a Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or Services.

2. Orders & Payment (Online Store)

All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change prices, correct pricing errors, and update product availability at any time without prior notice. An order is only confirmed once payment has been successfully processed through our payment gateway. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including where a pricing or listing error has occurred, stock is unavailable, or fraud is suspected — in which case any payment already made will be refunded.

3. Repairs, Installations & Callouts

When you bring in, hand over, or have us collect an item for repair, servicing, or diagnosis, the following applies:

  • Quotes provided prior to inspection are estimates only; the final price may change once the fault has been properly diagnosed. We will contact you before proceeding if the cost changes materially.
  • A diagnostic or callout fee may apply, whether or not you choose to proceed with the repair, and whether or not the item is ultimately repairable.
  • We take reasonable care of all items left in our possession, but we are not responsible for pre-existing damage, data loss, or the failure of unrelated components, and we strongly recommend backing up any data before handing in a device.
  • Uncollected items: Any item, device, or equipment left with us for repair, servicing, or safekeeping that is not collected within six (6) months of the date it was ready for collection, or the date we last made contact with you (whichever is later), will be deemed abandoned. We reserve the right to treat any such item as forfeited, and to sell it, dispose of it, or use it (or its components) as spares, without further notice and without any obligation to compensate you.

4. Payment for Repairs & Services

Full payment for a repair, installation, service, or IT callout must be received before the item, product, or completed work is released or rendered to you. We reserve the right to withhold any repaired item, installed equipment, or deliverable (including completed websites, software, or configuration work) until payment has been made in full. Where a deposit was paid upfront, this does not entitle you to release of the item or service until the outstanding balance has been settled. We are not liable for any loss, inconvenience, or damages arising from an item or service being withheld due to non-payment.

5. Warranties

Repairs and parts we supply carry the warranty period communicated to you at the time of invoicing (where applicable). Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, liquid damage, unauthorised repairs by a third party, normal wear and tear, or issues unrelated to the original fault. Products purchased through our online store are covered by the applicable manufacturer or supplier warranty, and, where applicable, your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

6. Second-Hand & Refurbished Goods

Any item described as second-hand, used, refurbished, or "as-is" is sold in the condition described at the time of sale. Please refer to our Shipping & Returns Policy for details on how this affects returns.

7. Website & App Development / IT Projects

For custom website, app, or IT project work, the specific scope, timeline, and payment milestones will be set out in a separate quote or proposal. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, ownership of custom work (source files, designs, licences) transfers to the client only once payment has been received in full. Third-party costs (domains, hosting, licences, stock imagery, plugins) are billed separately unless included in the quote.

8. Use of the Website

You agree to use our website lawfully and not to attempt to interfere with its operation or security, scrape or reproduce our content without permission, or submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through our forms or checkout.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is owned by or licensed to Netronical and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Netronical will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss (including loss of data, profits, or business) arising from the use of our website, products, or Services. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded under South African law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect once posted on this page, and your continued use of our website or Services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
